Very cool. Gets me thinking of air ships. With todays transparent plastics and resins, I’m sure a blimp comprised mostly of said materials would be extremely stealthy. If one also pairs with a Lubors lens array (as some people online already created “invisibility shields) it could be even more stealthy maybe. If one wants quite propulsion and electric perhaps some ionic wind propulsion device and or sail? A bit futuristic but near silent means propulsion. Steam also can be extremely quite too though as seen in those old steam powered cars. A bit of Tesla’s remote capabilities control would be a vessel worthy for lord :)

Hi there. People don't usually post comments here. I think you may be the first. Thanks very much. I had not considered a transparent envelope, mainly because I'm no so sure Chetworth would have had access to such materials in 1897. Good idea though. Perhaps Jenkins could just paint the whole thing sky blue? Would a sail be tricky, as would we also not also need something to operate as a keel? I wonder if a sail on that auxiliary balloon lofted far into other higher altitude currents might do the trick, or perhaps something slung far far below? Or both? I'm no balloonist, so have no idea.

I’m no balloonist either but it is fun to think about. Yeah I understand he would not have ad access to that tech back then, I was just spitballing out of the time period (cause I like utilizing every available tech to imagine with) but I could on future comments try to post in character and recommend time period available tech strictly. I like your YouTube videos; maybe you and some buddy’s can do like a radio drama style reading of these stories. But no Problem I like interacting and commenting. Keep up the good work :)
